Code Of Conduct

Purpose

Earthjustice is committed to defending the right of all people to a healthy environment. This policy sets the standards and expectations that allow our team — across 15 offices — to do that work with integrity, safety, and shared purpose.

Scope

Applies to all Earthjustice employees, interns, fellows, and contractors engaged in work on behalf of the organization, regardless of office or remote location.

Policy details

  1. 1. Eligibility. All regular full- and part-time staff are covered from their first day of employment.
  2. 2. Requesting & approvals. Submit requests through Workday at least two weeks in advance when possible. Direct managers approve in collaboration with the People Team.
  3. 3. Documentation. Where applicable, supporting documentation should be filed within 30 days.
  4. 4. Confidentiality. All personal information related to this policy is held in strict confidence by the People Team.
  5. 5. Review. This policy is reviewed annually and updated as needed to reflect law, best practice, and our values.
